(The Six O'Clock Triple Shot is a daily feature of three songs that share a common theme, heard weeknights on 94.9 WMMQ)

Tonight, we look back on another day in Rock 'n' Roll history...albeit a day late. November 2, 1969 Creedence Clearwater Revival released their third album of the year, Willy And The Poorboys. It was their fourth studio LP, and the frequency of releases symbolized the success the band was enjoying. Little did anybody know that within two years the success would turn into a futility within the band that would eventually lead to CCR's demise.

Tonight, we'll listen to three from Willy And The Poor Boys: "Down On The Corner", "Fortunate Son", and "The Midnight Special". It's tonight's Six O'Clock Triple Shot on 94.9 WMMQ!
