We have news out of J. Geils camp today that should excite fans of the band. The Boston-by-way-of-Motown rockers have announced a brand new DVD+CD set due for release next month. House Party Live In Germany will feature 14 live tracks recorded in 1979...PRE-FREEZE FRAME!!!!! Fans will find renditions of classics like "Whammer Jammer", "Sanctuary" and "Give It To Me". Also featured is a version of The Supremes' classic "Where Did Our Love Go". The new set captures the essence of classic J. Geils Band rock and roll, literally months prior to their embarkment to the pop flavored world of the 1980's.
