(The Six O'Clock Triple Shot is a daily feature of three songs that share a common theme, heard weeknights on 94.9 WMMQ)

Tonight, we look back at a big day in rock & roll history...January 16, 1976 Frampton Comes Alive! was released. To this day, it is still the 4th best selling live album (6x platinum) in the U.S. behind Garth Brooks Double Live (21x platimun), Bruce Springsteen Live 1975-85 (13x platinum), and Eagles Live  (7x platinum). The double-album set was also ranked number 3 in Rolling Stone Magazine's Readers' Poll: The 10 Best Live Albums of All Time.

To this day, plenty of songs extracted from the LP receive lots of radio airplay. Tonight, we feature three of them...two , a little off the reservation. (Meaning, you won't hear "Baby, I Love Your Way" or "Do You Feel Like We Do") Enjoy the rocker "I'll Give You Money", Peter's live twist on "Jumpin' Jack Flash", and the always familiar "Show Me The Way". Fine, live guitar work and amazing vocals that can't be duplicated in a studio. It's tonight's Six O'Clock Triple Shot only on 94.9 WMMQ!!
