(The Six O'Clock Triple Shot is a daily feature of three songs that share a common theme, heard weeknights on 94.9 WMMQ)

It's been 45 years since the world last saw The Beatles perform together in public. The Fab Four were set to film a performance for their Let It Be movie. After all of the PA gear they could find was dragged onto the roof of the Apple Records Building, the boys wailed out a loud rendition of "Get Back" (which, by the way, was tape recorded by an aspiring sound engineer named Alan Parsons). The decibels and attention were so intriguing, it prompted a visit by local police authorities who infamously shut down The Beatles as we know it.

Tonight, we commemorate a bittersweet day in rock history with three from The Beatles' latter years. From Abbey Road, "I Want You (She's So Heavy)"; and from Let It Be, "I've Got A Feeling" and the title track. It's the Six O'Clock Triple Shot only on 94.9 WMMQ.
