(The Six O'Clock Triple Shot is a daily feature of three songs that share a common theme, heard weeknights on 94.9 WMMQ)

It's time to celebrate another Rock 'n' Roll birthday! Aerosmith's Brad Whitford turns 63 today. Whitford, the often overshadowed half of Aerosmith's guitar duo, has been a member of the band since 1971, and has written many of the guitar parts that commonly get credited to Joe Perry. Among his credited songs: "Kings and Queens", "Round and Round", and "Last Child". Whitford also is responsible for many of the band's studio solos, including those on "Seasons of Wither" and "Back In The Saddle". As we celebrate Whitford's birthday, we'll hear three of his finest works.

Tune in for "Last Child", "You See Me Crying", and "Seasons of Wither", as we check out some Aerosmith ballads for tonight's Six O'Clock Triple Shot, only on 94.9 WMMQ!
