(The Six O'Clock Triple Shot is a daily feature of three songs that share a common theme, heard weeknights on 94.9 WMMQ)

We're looking back on another day in Rock 'n' Roll history tonight as we mark the anniversary of the release of a classic LP. Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band released Against The Wind 35 years ago today on February 25, 1980. I remember the day well, myself. It was another trip to State Discount in the Meridian Mall with my dad that put the LP into my rock catalogue, with its cool blue, sky like cover featuring a harras running through a stream...

The album would go on to become the first number one LP for Seger, and would also earn the band two grammys in 1981.

Tonight, we hear three from Against The Wind for your Six O'Clock Triple Shot. Tune in for "You'll Accompany Me", "Fire Lake", and "Her Strut", only on 94.9 WMMQ!
