Last night's Grammy Awards show was a bit of a letdown for classic rockers. Tom Petty, U2, Pink Floyd, and Metallica were all snubbed in favor of more artsy, Academy sweethearts like Beck and Tenacious D. AC/DC opened the show, and in my opinion, were a bit lackluster; out of tune with a commercialized medley set. But, Jeff Lynne delivered big time. Bringing the Electric Light Orchestra brand back to an American stage for the first time in nearly three decades was all that it was billed to be, even if Ed Sheeran lent some talent to the set. The band performed "Evil Woman" and "Mr. Blue Sky". And, now, America is seething for the day a full blown ELO tour is announced. Lynne suggested new music from the ELO brand and hinted at some more shows after some UK sets in 2014.

Tonight, we keep the Electric Light Orchestra in the spotlight. Tune in for "Mr. Blue Sky", "Turn To Stone", and "Strange Magic", all featured for tonight's Six O'Clock Triple Shot on 94.9 WMMQ!
