We celebrate another rock & roll birthday tonight as David Gilmour turns 68. The musical genius of Pink Floyd fame is staying busy these days. Currently, Gilmour is in the process of recording a new LP with David Crosby and Graham Nash. This will be the first project for Gilmour since his very successful 2006 solo effort On An Island, which also included appearances by Crosby and Nash.
Tonight, we'll play three songs from David Gilmour for your Six O'Clock Triple Shot: The title track to his most recent solo effort, "On An Island". And, two from the Pink Floyd days, "Time" and "Learning To Fly", only on 94.9 WMMQ!
