(The Six O'Clock Triple Shot is a daily feature of three songs that share a common theme, heard weeknights on 94.9 WMMQ)

Tonight, we mark another day in Rock History. April 4, 1974, Ladies and Gentlemen: The Rolling Stones was originally released in theaters worldwide. The concert film was the first in history to feature a quadraphonic soundtrack. The video footage was only available through an Australian bootleg prior to a worldwide re-release in 2010 as a DVD/Blu-Ray combo. The reissue is certified Platinum in the U.S.

We'll mark the day in history with three live cuts from The Stones..."Honky Tonk Women", "Happy", and "Gimme Shelter". It's your Six O'Clock Triple Shot on 94.9 WMMQ!
