Neil Schon of Journey is leading an effort to produce a benefit album chock full of Sting and Police hits. The title of the album will be Set Them Free, after the Sting song from his 1985 Dream of the Blue Turtles LP. Proceeds will go towards supporting Rock Against Trafficking. Artists mentioned to be involved include Heart, Steven Tyler, Slash, and, of course, Journey. The only confirmed cover track is "Synchronicity II", to be performed by Journey...with Arnel Pineda, not Steve Perry, singing lead vocals, according to ultimateclassicrock.com

Tonight, three Police songs that I'd like to see covered, including "Synchronicity II", "De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da" from Zenyatta Mondatta (and The Last American Virgin Soundtrack), and "King of Pain". It's tonight's Six O'Clock Triple Shot on 94.9 WMMQ!
