(The Six O'Clock Triple Shot is a daily feature of three songs that share a common theme, heard weeknights on 94.9 WMMQ)

MusiCares, an effort by rock stars helping themselves and others to battle addiction, awarded Ozzy Osbourne with the Stevie Ray Vaughn Award last night at the 10th Annual MAP Fund Benefit. The award recognizes Ozzy's personal battle with demons, as well as his contribution to helping others overcome addiction. Joe Walsh presented the award to Ozzy, who did a five-song set with some of his fellow rock fighters. Slash lent some kind words towards the Prince of Darkness, and joined him for "Paranoid". Check out the video link here. Metallica lent a set of covers to the show that included Ozzy's "Diary of a Madman".

To help in the efforts of recognizing Ozzy, we'll do three from him for tonight's Six O'Clock Triple Shot: "Over The Mountain", "Bark At The Moon", and "Perry Mason"...only on 94.9 WMMQ!
