Three Grammy Awards, seven Top 10 singles, over 15 Million sold in the U.S., 30 Million worldwide. All of this is true about Bruce Springsteen's sixth studio album Born In The USA. It was the best selling album of 1985 (thought it was released in 1984), and spent 84 consecutive weeks in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 Album Chart. Needless to say, the LP was legendary...and controversial. As the title track became an American Icon, the point of the song was not necessarily about patriotic pride...rather life through the eyes of the Vietnam Vet living in America during that time.

Billboard.com did one heck of a job commemorating the album's 30th Anniversary. Tonight, we, also, pay homage to a legend. Tune in for "Born In The USA", "Cover Me", and "I'm Goin' Down" for your Six O'Clock Triple Shot on 94.9 WMMQ!
