(The Six O'Clock Triple Shot is a daily feature of three songs that share a common theme, heard weeknights on 94.9 WMMQ)

Tonight, we look back on a day in Rock 'n' Roll history. 27 years ago today, Guns N' Roses released their debut LP, Appetite For Destruction. Since its release, the iconic metal LP has been certified 18 times Platinum...meaning more than 18 Million copies have been sold worldwide. It's one of those albums that only yielded a handful of singles, four in fact, but has had many more songs hit radio airplay...heavy radio airplay. The current inception just wrapped up another Las Vegas residency. Slash has his own band out on tour with Aerosmith currently, and just released a new album this summer. As far as the future of GNR...it remains to be seen. Nevertheless, they have left us with some classics over the past three decades.

Tonight, we will hear three from the debut release. Tune in for "Sweet Child of Mine", Mr. Brownstone", and "Welcome To The Jungle". It's tonight's Six O'Clock Triple Shot, only on 94.9 WMMQ!
