It was 43 years ago today that Jim Morrison was found dead due to an apparent heart attack, though many claim it was from a heroin overdose. But, no autopsy was performed, helping to fuel the theory that Morrison's death was a sham. The iconic front man of The Doors certainly led a life of controversy. From arrests for drug possession, indecent exposure, and the likes, to pissing off some of the world's biggest radio and television producers and stars, Morrison was certainly a revolutionary. That attitude was displayed no more prominently than in the soulful, thought-provoking lyrics that helped make The Doors rock legends.

Tonight, we celebrate the life of Jim Morrison for you Six O'Clock Triple Shot. Tune in tonight to hear "Waiting For The Sun", a live cover of "Who Do You Love", and "Peace Frog/Blue Sunday" only on 94.9 WMMQ!
