(The Six O'Clock Triple Shot is a daily feature of three songs that share a common theme, heard weeknights on 94.9 WMMQ)

We jump in the Rock 'n' Roll time machine again tonight, looking back on an exciting day in American Rock history. David Bowie brought his alter-ego, Ziggy Stardust, and The Spiders From Mars to U.S. soil for the first time, playing Carnegie Hall in New York. Bowie had already enjoyed worldwide success, but Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars introduced the world to a new side of Bowie, artistically and personally. As of recently, Bowie hasn't been very active, and only jokingly referred to the potential of new material.

Tonight, three from the Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars LP for your Six O'Clock Triple Shot. Tune in to hear "Ziggy Stardust", "Starman", and "Suffragette City", only on 94.9 WMMQ!
