(The Six O'Clock Triple Shot is a daily feature of three songs that share a common theme, heard weeknights on 94.9 WMMQ)

We have news out of AC/DC camp today...good and bad. The band is releasing their first album since 2008's Black Ice just in time for Christmas. Rock Or Bust will be released on December 2. And, you'll be able to hear one of the tracks called "Play Ball" even sooner than that, as it will be featured on TBS' Major League Baseball Postseason Coverage. But, the bitter part of the news is the announcement that Malcolm Young will not be returning to the band, due to health issues reported earlier this year. But, there will be no retirement for the Australian rock gods. Malcolm and Angus Young's nephew Stevie will take over rhythm guitars.

Last night, we featured three tunes from AC/DC for the Six O'Clock Triple Shot: "Have A Drink On Me", "Live Wire", and "High Voltage", on 94.9 WMMQ!
