A few weeks ago, I went to breakfast at the Fowlerville VFW post 6464. As soon as I walked in, I ran into the OLDEST LIVING WORLD WAR II VET in FOWLERVILLE, Carl Morgan. Click here to see the full story.

The truth is, I love the breakfast there. We began going there after we attended a cancer benefit for a (at the time) 4 year-old Hunter Hath of Fowlerville.

A few years ago, we had our own cancer benefit for my 4 year-old niece who was battling brain cancer. I saw our community come together. The love and positive had a lot to do with how both of these kids continue their inspiring recoveries. Plus, it really energized the family.

Although there is hope for a miracle recovery, the long term prospects for this girl aren't good.
