Spartan Captains Describe in One Word Spartan Program; Notre Dame Rivalry

On Tuesday, Spartan football captains Tyler O'Connor, Demetrious Cox and Riley Bullough took questions from the media regarding the Spartans upcoming game in South bend against Notre Dame.

The trio recognize the big game and big opportunity in front of them, and stress it's time to step up.

They also reflect on what being a part of the MSU-ND rivalry means not only to them, but supporters of both schools.

Mark Dantonio also addressed the media with Notre Dame on the horizon, talking about how the Spartans will gameplan for the Irish, and how the 1966 team connects to the present day Spartans.

Dantonio also talked about Ed Davis' place in the defense after he was recently granted a 6th year of eligibility by the NCAA.
