St. Ignace Deer Ranch Still Drawing Good Crowds

The Deer Ranch in St. Ignace, MI still brings in carloads of tourists from all over. Another weekend trip to the UP found us there as well. There’s something about seeing deer and being able to feed and pet them that even as an avid hunter, I find relaxing. Seeing the changes in their coats go from the summer look of a rich auburn like red  to the brown of fall. Also seeing the velvet get scraped away from their antlers as the bucks get ready for the rut.

Some people love puppies and kittens, I like deer. You might say they “make me a jolly good fellow.”
