Steve Miller Band Announces Michigan Date

Another classic rock staple has booked a summer visit to the DTE Energy Music Theater. The Steve Miller Band has announced plans for a 2016 North American tour that includes a June 24 stop in Michigan.

A big summer starts for the band with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony April 8 in New York City. The DTE show in June will be the sixth show of the tour which kicks off in Suburban Cleveland on June 17. The band will round out the tour in their hometown of San Francisco with fellow Bay Area products Santana, Journey, and The Doobie Brothers on September 4 at AT&T Park.

Ticket prices for the DTE show have not yet been announced, but will go on sale Friday, March 25 at 10:00am.
