Technology: Making Of The New Dinosaurs

I never wanted to be "That Guy!" The old guy that says..."Back in my day, stuff was built to last!" Well, after a yard sale over the weekend, I have become "That Guy!"

I had three older, working televisions in the "FREE" pile. And their they sat. Like the toys on misfit island. People walked by and just stared, I mentioned that they could be repurposed as boat anchors. But to no avail.

Planned obsolescence at it's finest. So off to the recycling center it goes. Maybe to be made into something new that will be outdated before it hits the Wal Mart shelves.
