For many Michigander's, there is a hunting season that coincides with the turkey season, but does not require camo (although some wear it to conceal there secret spots), hunters orange, or even a firearm or a bow. It's "mushroom season!"

Pending any unforeseen early April blizzards, many will take to the woods in search of the tasty fungus among us.

Keep in mind, that there will be turkey hunters sharing the same public lands and to use caution while hunting. Both parties should exercise a shared appreciation for the outdoors and respect each other's right to be on Michigan's public lands.

Best of luck to all and let's see some pictures!
