The State of Michigan Flag: Ready for a Makeover?

The Michigan flag is kind of boring and ready for redesign. Rick says California and Colorado have a hip new design and they are actually using it. Some of the designs on his Twitter page were pretty sweet.
Some people fear change but I am for a new flag. The "Deer Having Beer with an Eagle" doesn't do anything to reinstill Michigan pride in me. We have 5 Great Lakes, incorporating them in somehow seems fitting. Plus, people love a lighthouse. Just an idea. The top 3 ideas get 500 bucks.
