Treats, Not Tricks, For Craft Beer Lovers
With Michigan fast becoming a destination for beer lovers, those who live here need not travel beyond our local party store. And now that fall has made it's presence known, the pumpkin beers are hitting the shelves.
Many will look in disgust at a beer that little more flavor than water. For those who are a bit more adventurous, there are the pumpkin beers. This is the time that I will create my own six pack and do a taste testing of my own.
Once again my favorite is the "Jaw-Jacker" from Arcadia Brewing Company of Battle Creek, MI. It has everything that a piece of pumpkin pie should be, without the gritty consistency. The true essence of fall in a liquid form.
