My pal Aaron Putnam is bringing Comic Shane Mauss to The Fledge, which is a Performance and Event venue on Eureka Street in Lansing.

38 year old Mauss, who won an award for Best Stand-Up at the HBO US Comedy Festival', has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel, Showtime, Conan, and he has specials on Comedy Central and Netflix.

Mauss will host two shows tonight at The Fledge, the first one will be comedy, the second is called, "A Good Trip".

Lansing's City Pulse says:

Mauss’ “Good Trip” takes the audience through a rough history of LSD — chemical name: Lysergic acid diethylamide — providing a timeline starting with the use of hallucinogenic drugs in traditional cultures, up until the full-bore drug war levied by the Richard Nixon administration.

Mauss also reportedly weaves into his comedy-science-psychedelics shows reflections upon the meaning of life, nature and how life works. There's that.

If you go tonight, you're going to be in for a pretty unique style of comedy - sounds like there's often a Q&A with the audience after the show, too.
