MSU scored 2 HUGE recruiting victories over Ohio State and Michigan yesterday. They now have 11 commitments for the 2016 season. Finally, they actually got some Michigan kids. Their first 2 for the 2016 class.

The first announcement came around 11am yesterday from Detroit Cass Tech safety Demetric Vance. Get the full story here. He said he chose MSU because they felt like home.

Then around 11 pm, Traverse City West offensive lineman Thiyo Lukusa picked MSU over Ohio State and Michigan. Click here to see that story.

Now, MSU has the #10 ranked recruiting class for 2016 according to 247sports.com. After yesterday, MSU moved up 14 spots. That makes 9 Spartan commits since April 22.

It's a good time to be green. Now, let's just hope they HONOR their commitments.
