An annual gathering of Oldsmobile enthusiasts takes place this weekend with the 24th Annual Oldsmobile Homecoming Car Show & Swap Meet. Put on yearly by the R.E. Olds Chapter of the Oldsmobile Club of America, this year's gathering anticipates over 500 show cars, along with a plethora of vendors, live music, a memorabilia auction, and yes, even a few Oldsmobiles for sale.

The free to attend event (there is a registration for folks who want to display their car) takes place Saturday at the State Secondary Complex in Dimondale, and also celebrates the 50th anniversary of the legendary Olds Toronado. Visitors should head to the State of Michigan OPS Center, 7285 Parsons Dr. Dimondale, MI from 9:00am-3:00pm Saturday.

Other events taking place include a cruise-in Friday night in Downtown Dimondale at 6:00pm, and a Night At The Museum will talk place at the R.E. Olds Transportation Museum Saturday evening from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. For more information, visit this link to the R.E. Olds Chapter of the Oldsmobile Club of America website.
