Searching the internet is a fun thing to do. We can find out information on anything that has ever existed. We search for information about history, shopping, travel, sports, videos, pictures, social networking; the list is infinitely long. Have you ever had innocent intention and stumbled onto a website that is for those 18+? If you have, you are not alone.

The internet is loaded with all kinds of content for any subject. Key words are used to help search and identify the subjects you are looking for. If I want to find out about a good pizza place, I search "pizza near me". If I am looking for something awesome for my wife as a gift I may search "romantic gift ideas". Sometimes a simple search on your work computer can land you in the HR department.

I asked YOU for things you have searched for on the web, with good intention, that came back as something rated for 18+. You once again stepped up to the plate, with no shame and shared your topics that came back "naughty" or "inappropriate". This type of stuff can get you in trouble, be smart about your searches.

You don't want to be the one that says:

Our family thought it would be really cool to redo the bathroom and add some fine accents. We wanted a gold bathroom. We had to find a shower so we searched golden shower and immediately had to turn the kids heads away.

Yeah, I haven't searched that, however millions of other people have, innocently and were surprised with what returned on their screen.

Today on the air someone had mentioned the word "pickle boat" when referring to food at the ballpark. I didn't search for it, that's just moronic. After receiving feedback from an intern at the ballpark, he state that he is unaware of any pickle boat. He did say that some vendors might be selling them. He was unaware of what they were and declined to search for it on his work computer. Well played.

The best way to avoid the HR Department is to use common sense. If it sounds "dirty", it most likely is dirty.
