Weather Looks Perfect For Some “Insane” Fun
If the recent run of hot, steamy weather has made you think twice about running the Insane Inflatable 5K this Saturday, you'll have to find a new excuse to not participate. We've been gearing up for months with Mosquito Squad of Greater Lansing, and all of our other great sponsors, hoping that Mother Nature will cooperate with a beautiful Michigan summer day. And, it looks like that wish will come to fruition.
The National Weather Service is forecasting a high around 80 with some cloudiness mixed with some sun. There is a small chance of a shower in the afternoon. But, don't let that damper the plans. There will be some runners who use any rain as an opportunity to "mud-it-up" while the rest of us sane ones sit out any chance of delay, sippin' suds, taking in live music, and stuffing our faces on the midway.
There is still time to register for your heat, we'll call it "flight" so as to not jinx ourselves. Quit procrastinating, and get out to join us Saturday at the Hope Sports Complex in Lansing!
