MLive.com reports that State Representative Lisa Lyons of Alto has proposed a state law that would allow hunters to choose between blaze orange or hunter pink during Michigan's firearm deer season. A percentage of brightly colored clothing is required during firearm season. You can read all the details here.

The 'hunter pink' is not a pastel or bright, but what they call a dark pink; apparently research suggests that deer see orange better than they see pink, and hunters see pink better than orange.

Wisconsin already allows the pink or orange options.

The Michigan DNR is not issuing an official opinion on the issue.Whaddya think?
