This morning Joey and I were talking about a Pennsylvania woman who bought a new purse from a department store earlier this month and found several pieces of nice jewelry inside, including rings, necklaces, bracelets and watches. She contacted police in an effort to find the person who owned the shiny trinkets.

Initially, we wondered what we might do in such a situation of purchasing an item, then finding valuables inside which were obviously not items from the store; would you try to return them to their rightful owner or keep the stuff?

Naturally, I got sidetracked from the initial question, instead fixating on how the jewelry got inside the purse and how neither the woman who bought it or the clerk who handled it noticed that there was THAT much jewelry inside it. Sounds fishy to me.

Theories?
