“Wheel of Fortune” Looking For Contestants in Michigan

If you are a "Wheel of Fortune" fanatic then you will want to definitely check this event coming up next month as you can try out to be on the show. The Wheel of Fortune mobile or the 36-foot Winnebago, is on a nationwide tour looking for contestants and is stopping in Detroit the weekend of May 18th.

If you want to be a part of the try outs then you will have to be available May 18th and 19th between Noon - 4pm. The try outs will be happening at the Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre, (2600 Atwater St.) Another note is that you must be at least 18 years old.

But the audition process will go a little like this, as they are going to be having audition games at noon, 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day. Contestants will receive an application one hour before each show begins, so there’s no need to arrive hours and hours in advance. If you are randomly called on stage you will be interviewed as well as play a round, which will allow you to be evaluated by the producers of the show. They will try and call as many people as possible on stage but there are several opportunities to get on stage.

After this two day event, the producers will choose the people they believe will be best for the show and invite them to the final round of auditions, which will happen somewhere in Detroit in the future. More on it here
