WILX.com reports that a major roadway in Northwest Lansing is set to close for about a week beginning today. Willow Street will undergo a resurfacing and railroad upgrade project and will close to eastbound and westbound traffic for about a week.

The railroad crossing upgrade will force the street's closure. But, reportedly, the resurfacing project will continue into August with lane closures allowing limited traffic access after the crossing upgrade is complete.

Traffic will detoured by way of M.L.K. Boulevard, Saginaw/Oakland Streets, and Waverly Road.
