The wine and micro-brew industry is quite popular in Michigan these days, and some see both as a big boost for tourism. Heck, there's such a "buzz" about local breweries we've put together the WMMQ Brew Ha-Ha Brewery Bus Tour for April 17. State lawmakers last year approved legislation allowing for local wineries in Michigan to provide no-cost "tastings" of their product. Now, according to this mlive.com report, some Democrats are sponsoring a bill looking to extend the no-cost tastings to Michigan Micro-breweries. What do you think? Is this a good deal for brewers, consumers, and state tourism? Or, is this just making that much easier for folks to drink and drive?
