WMMQ pal Tim Hoffman shared this story with us from MLive.com about winter camping in Michigan - check out the link here for some of your options on state managed land.

Hoffman says:

"We rent a State Park Mini Cabin for ice fishing. Big fun! Peaceful, nobody else in the park. I’d highly recommend it at least once for the life experience. They heat the cabins up before you get there, 3-4 beds, clean, rustic but comfortable. And it’s only like $38 a night this season."
