Yesterday, I posted the list of top ten Led Zeppelin songs, according to Consequence of Sound, which did not include 'Stairway to Heaven'.

Some comments from the WMMQ Facebook page included:

"'Ten Years Gone' and 'Thank You' need to be there." ~ Shawn

"You morons forgot ,'The Rain Song' and 'The Song Remains the Same'." ~ Chris

"Horrible list. No 'Immigrant Song', 'No Quarter', 'Dazed & Confused', 'Stairway to Heaven'." ~ John

My Honey and I only had a brief chance to discuss it last night.  I think it's safe to say that Zeppelin is his favorite band.  Ever.  So he was quite fired up about the list.  He first quoted Mr. Hand from Fast Times at Ridgemont High, "What are you people...on dope?"

Then he shared with me his observations of the list from Consequence of Sound:

Songs that shouldn't be there:
Communication Breakdown
Going to California
What is and Never Should Be
Good Times, Bad Times

Songs that need to be there:

Four Sticks
Song Remains the Same
Ten Years Gone
Thank You
Houses of the Holy
I love the passionate responses from everyone -- thank you for taking the time to share what you've got to say.
