Ten years ago today this happened at the Palace.

Former Piston Chauncey Billups looked back with ESPN to reflect on that game. Click here to see the interview.

It's hard to believe it has been 10 years. I still can't believe Ben Wallace let Ron Artest get to him like that. Then, Artest finds the smallest dude he can in the crowd. I remember working in Flint and the reaction the next day. "Artest is lucky to be alive." Was the prevailing thought that day. A day later, the NBA suspended Artest for the rest of the regular season, plus any playoff games. Artest missed 86 games, the longest suspension for an on-court incident in NBA history.

He changed his name to Metta World Peace but he continued to be an ass for the rest of his playing career in the NBA. Now, he's playing in China.
