$500 Million Powerball Jackpot, Minus Taxes…Where to Start?

I admit it. I've got a bit of lottery fever today. I spent $3 today on one Powerball and one Mega Millions, just to hedge my bets. It's been worth every penny to imagine all I can do with a big payout! Last I heard, the kitty is up to $500M.

This does beg the question: if you buy a lottery ticket outside of the ones your regular lottery club at work gets every week, are you obligated to share your winnings with your co-workers? Long-standing club, good friends...hmmmm...would you expect them to share with you?

First thing to do after winning, besides contacting a tax attorney and investment advisor? A vacation with My Honey to figure out who's on the 'naughty and nice' list for giving money away and the 'now what?' plan. You?
