Ameer Abdullah Makes a Big Impression
We have been hearing a lot of buzz coming out of the Lions camp about rookie running back Ameer Abdullah. Last night for 7 carries, we got to see what the buzz is all about.
It's been about 16 years since I have seen a Lions player make a tackler look this bad. I know it's the preseason and the Jets are awful but it's hard not to get a little excited seeing Ameer's skill set. If he could stay healthy, he could be the next great Lions back.
The Lions have broken my heart for 41 years. We are like the Cubs of football. The Super Bowl drought has to end sometime. Why not now?
