WILX.com reports that an annual music festival held in West Michigan will not take place this summer due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Electric Forest, held in Rothbury, Michigan each summer, will be on hiatus until 2021. Event organizers announced the news this week on their website.

For those that purchased festival wristbands or lodging packages, those can be used for the 2021 event. But, refunds are also being offered, According to the report, purchasers will be contacted by email with instructions to obtain refunds, depending on the method used for the original purchase.

There is a 30 day deadline to obtain refunds.
