Seriously, what did summer do to you? To us? Why are we in such a rush to kick it to the curb?

For the record, because folks seem to be painfully unaware, SUMMER GOES THROUGH SEPTEMBER.

Even after Labor Day. The official end of summer is September 22nd, 2021.

You wouldn't know it though the way people are acting and carrying on.

Who keeps moving the line back so we always start earlier each year?

Earlier this week Starbucks hit us with these.

I was at Costco a few weeks back and they had these out.

We were even talking about people who were Christmas shopping last week.

Christmas shopping? Seriously?

When did QD break out the cider?

Wait a minute?!? I'm late? It got here last week? How did I miss it?

So forget about who came first, the chicken or the egg? We know the cider got here before the latte.

I know it's early too. But if you have to choose, what are you going with? A hot PSL? And yeah, they do have pumpkin cold brews.

Or...

We've been getting some decent heat as we wrap up August. And when you can just walk in and grab an ice cold QD cider and donuts, that's a no brainer.

Also I'm willing to bet dollars to (apple cider and) donuts, this classic Mid-Michigan treat won't even cost you that much.

Bring on the fall - apple cider, donuts, and all.
