“Betty” Ashes Donated to East Lansing Salvation Army

Jennifer Hart is a manager at the Salvation Army in East Lansing and she posted on Facebook this week that over the weekend, someone donated the box above which contains ashes. They attempted to contact the person listed on the donation slip, to no avail.

Hart contacted WILX TV 10 to spread the news in an attempt to find the donor, who may have unwittingly given away the remains of a relative.

Meridian Township police were also contacted in an effort to reunite the donation with the donor.
