According to a report from WLNS.com, German automaker BMW is recalling more than 85,000 sport utility vehicles.

A possible malfunction with a mat that detects front-seat passengers is forcing the recall. Faulty sensors may cause air bags not to work for passengers.

The recall affects 2006 through 2010 BMW X3 models. For full details, click this link to the WLNS report.
