Branden Dawson Arrested in California for Domestic Violence

Former Spartan, and current Los Angeles Clipper Branden Dawson was arrested Sunday on a domestic violence charge.

TMZ Sports is reporting that Dawson, 23, was arrested for felony domestic violence around 8:30 A.M. pacific time. According to the report, he is being held on $50,000 bail.

The Gary, Indiana native was booked earlier the same morning by the LAPD Pacific division.

Dawson was selected by the New Orleans Pelicans in the second round (56th overall) of the 2015 NBA draft and then was traded on draft day to the LA Clippers.

Dawson had appeared in three games at the NBA level, averaging about five minutes and one rebound a game for the Clippers.
