BWL Rate Hike?
The Lansing State Journal reports that the Lansing Board of Water & Light says they need to raise an additional $20.5 million for 'capital improvement' and storm preparedness. That translates to a proposed seven percent electricity hike for consumers, in addition to other increases.
The BWL will hold a public hearing tonight at 5:30 at the REO Town Depot on Washington if you'd like to weigh in on the proposal.
