Watch this amazing video of MSU percussion students performing Carol of the Bells.At a construction site. The new site of The Billman Music Pavilion. Conceived and put together by MSU percussion instructor Jon Weber, and a nod to the students who helped put this thing together (and filmed in about an hour in 30 degree weather), it is truly awesome. Michigan State University percussion instructor Jon Weber wrote a version of Mykola Leontovych's popular Christmas song incorporating things found in the construction site of the new Billman Music Pavilion.
Michigan State University percussion students executed it, playing bricks and wood railings along with more traditional instruments such as sleigh bells, hand bells, a kalimba and chimes. (Lansing State Journal)
