Check Out Former Red Wing Henrik Zetterberg’s Detroit Mansion
The Swedish scoring machine, who helped the Wings win the Stanley Cup in 2008 is living in style in Birmingham.
Zetterberg Is A Red Wing And Swedish Hockey Legend
Henrik signed with the Wings back in 2003, and eventually led the team to their 11th Stanley Cup in 2008, winning playoff MVP honors at the time.
He's also won gold medals with the Swedish national team in both the Olympics and the World Championships, cementing his place as an international hockey legend.
Zetterberg Signed A Huge $73 Million Dollar Contract With The Wings
After his Cup heroics in 2008, Henrik inked a long term 12 year, $73 million dollar deal with the Red Wings, which became a boondoggle for then General Manger ken Holland, when the club had to et the last three years of the deal when a bad back forced Zetterberg to retire in 2018.
A Real Estate TikTok Account Gave A Tour Of His Suburban Birmingham Mansion
A TikTok account @wayupmedia recently gave a tour of Zetterberg's posh digs in Birmingham. The account doesn't indicate whether the property is up for sell, but I would have to assume it may be up for grabs soon, since it is a real estate company flouting it (and by 'up for grabs', I mean if you have millions of dollars).
So let's take a look around:
Well, there's a pool AND lakefront footage, plus what appears to be a workout room. And enough lawn room to host a world class bocce tournament if you so desire.
There's a clean aesthetic about it that I like. I'll take it! Wait. What would that payment be? Oh yeah, more than I make in six years. Never mind.
