We weren't quite there yet with the beauty and splendor of the award winning Pure Michigan ads, but were we were trying.

Using a weird golden tint to make everything look like an episode of the 'Gilmore Girls' and an announcer who seems indifferent to our beauty, these ads, entitled 'I Am Michigan' failed to capture the imagination. But you can tell their heart was in the right place.

I vaguely remember these ads. That's how little of an impact they made.
