City of Lansing Combined Sewer Overflow Work To Resume Next Month
WILX.com is reporting that the City of Lansing is set to resume its 30-year Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) project next month.
According to the City of Lansing's website, the first phase of this year's construction will affect streets in the neighborhoods around Martin Luther King Boulevard and Barnes Avenue. Traffic will not only be affected on local streets in this area, but will also force lane closures on both Martin Luther King Boulevard and Mount Hope Avenue.
The city lists the project with a 2019 completion date. According to the WILX report, city officials will have a public meeting to discuss this project at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 27 at St. Casimir Church.
