City of Lansing Urges Caution on Icy Local Streets

The City of Lansing sent out this notice a short while ago this morning:

We are currently applying salt and sand mix at the hills and intersections on residential streets, please use caution around plow equipment. Local streets are very icy, please drive with caution.

We are expecting 1-3 inches of snow accumulation on top of what came down over the weekend, which did leave a good number of icy spots on roads, sidewalks, parking lots, etc. WILX has the forecast here.
